Every Boy's Got One - Meg Cabot Though not as inane as the Shopaholic's Becky, the female protagonist was a little too silly for me to be able to derive any vicarious enjoyment. The descriptions of Italy and the missives of teenaged stalker fanboy Peter kept the narrative afloat.
